welcome

The Tenants Union of Victoria aims to inform and educate tenants about their rights, improve conditions for tenants, improve the status of tenants and represent the collective interests of tenants in law and policy making.

We provide advice, assistance and advocacy for tenants of private and public residential properties, and residents of rooming houses and caravan parks in Victoria, Australia.

From our office in Fitzroy, we offer a free and confidential telephone, drop-in and email advice service to tenants and residents renting in Victoria.

Before contacting us for advice, please visit the publications section of our website. Our publications provide information on a range of common tenancy matters and are available to download as pdfs (word documents of most of our English language publications are available on request).
